What is on it
Descriptions of the ashram’s own work — a home for the elderly, free primary schooling, care for children with special needs, a charitable clinic, and shelter for women in distress — together with photographs of that work, and passages from the tradition the ashram belongs to.
We keep it accurate to the best of our knowledge. Where we do not yet have a fact, we leave it out rather than estimate it: if a figure or a certificate is not shown here, that is because we do not have it to show.
Donations
A donation made through this site is a voluntary gift. It is not a payment for goods or for services, and it buys no membership, entitlement or benefit.
No payment is taken on this website. Giving by UPI happens inside your own bank’s app; this site only records what you chose to give and the reference your app gave you.
A gift is not confirmed until a person at the ashram has matched your reference against our bank statement. Until then, the status page shows it as being checked, because that is what it is.
Where you choose a particular programme, we apply your gift to that programme. A gift to the general fund is applied where the need is greatest.
Nothing here is advice
Nothing on this site is legal, tax, financial or medical advice. If a page mentions tax relief on donations, it does so only where we hold the approval to claim it, and even then you should check your own position with a qualified adviser.
Photographs and text
The photographs on this site are of the ashram and its work. Where a photographer is credited, the photograph remains theirs and is used here with permission. Please do not reproduce photographs or text from this site without asking us first.

We may change, add to or withdraw anything on this site. We try to keep it available, but we cannot promise it will never be down.
