An Appeal

Why we ask

Sannyasis and sannyasinis in full dedication, together with others given to the welfare and service of mankind, have determined and vowed to bring that ideal into reality.

Pronabananda Sevashram has received considerable help from the Chhabirani–Sudhirchandra Samaj Kalyan Kendra, Calcutta 700014, which donated furniture and medicines for the opening of the charitable clinic.

As a first step we established the ashram and built a temple in a suitable and beautiful place, and are engaged at present in various welfare activities. Those efforts cannot succeed without the co-operation and help of the people.

Pronabananda Sevashram carries on its work depending upon the voluntary donations of its friends, patrons, generous benefactors and sympathetic well-wishers. To conduct the programmes we have in view we appeal to noble and patriotic individuals, and to the charitable public, for liberal financial assistance in any of these forms.

  1. Monthly subscription

A standing gift each month, which is what lets the ashram plan beyond the week it is in.

  2. Annual subscription

The same commitment, made once a year.

  3. Lump-sum grant

A single larger gift, whether toward the general work or to one programme.

  4. A gift in memory

Given in memory of someone dear or adored, in whose name the gift is recorded.

  5. A gift marking an occasion

A birthday, an anniversary, a shraddha, or any day a family wishes to mark by giving.

  6. A gift of property

Movable or immovable property. This needs a conversation and paperwork, not a web page.

Any of these is arranged by speaking to us directly — a subscription has to be set up, and a gift in memory or of property needs a record made properly. Write to the ashram
